About
Hello
Emerson College grad, actor and writer, I am also the proud owner of an award-winning and five-star rated food and event tour business in historic Salem, MA.
I’ve performed in films such as Stronger and Gone Baby Gone; enjoyed stage performances; and hosted live events and interviews. I’ve been told I have a bit of a knack for interviewing, which might come from my love of people’s stories.
I also collaborate with other writers. Co-writer Emma Cavalier and I were very happy to place in the 2nd round at the ’21 Austin Film Festival with our thriller-drama feature.
Gratitude for sharing song I helped collaborate on – Thank You It’s Christmas – dedicated to all front-line and essential workers everywhere.

Co-founder and Owner Eris-Scalia Productions
For over a decade, my husband, comedian and host Mark Scalia and I have enjoyed putting together special team-building events, many with a charitable component, for large and small corporate groups. We custom craft unique excursions and events that bring folks together. The events are fun, delicious, unique and impactful.

Founder and Owner Salem Food Tours
Since 2012… Salem Food Tours blends my passion for great cuisine, local foods and history. Since founding this small business I have loved sharing delicious Salem, MA with locals and visitors from all over the world. It’s a perfect (and yummy) way to understand and appreciate this much-loved city, it’s remarkable spice trade history, and incredible modern culinary scene. Proud to share Salem Food Tours has won the Certificate of Excellence and Traveler’s Choice Award for 8 years running.

Writing
Capturing in words
Since I was a kid I’ve loved writing. In recent years I’ve found my way back to it and it feels darn good. My most recent work includes collaboration on a feature screenplay based on a short scene I wrote. “Edge of a Black Moon” is now complete. Thrilled to announce it placed in the top 20% at the Austin Film Festival.
I’ve written other monologues, scenes, short stories, and had a holiday song produced as well as several articles published. I have another TV script and screenplay in the works.
I am open to collaborations as well as proofreading creative work, research, script editing, etc.
